Kitana is being executed by lethal injection. Before she dies, she is given a chance to record a final message. She sits in front of the camera and talks about how she is afraid to die, how she doesn't want it to hurt, and how she's nervous about what will happen to her body afterward. She then says that it's time for her execution, and turns off the camera. Next, Kitana is lying on the execution bed. She is barefoot, and her body is covered with a sheet from her knees up to her chest. She starts to cry and beg as the executioner approaches her. She pleads for her life, but the executioner doesn't listen. He pulls the sheet down to attach the EKG pads to Kitana's chest. "Is it gonna hurt?" she whispers timidly, "Please don't make it hurt." She starts to tremble as the executioner stands up and reads the official court statement. "Kitana, you have been sentenced to die by lethal injection. A mix of drugs will now be injected into your body to induce unconsciousness and cardiac arrest. Do you have any final words before the sentence is carried out?" Kitana makes a final, frantic plea for mercy, repeating "Please! Let me go! I'm innocent! I don't wanna die!" Her words fade into pitiful sobbing as the executioner marks the start of the execution at 7:30 PM, and injects a syringe into Kitana's arm. Kitana shrieks, but the executioner holds her firmly, and all she can do is cry. Kitana relaxes as she feels the poison flowing towards her heart. She continues breathing deeply, and whispers prayers as she stares at the ceiling. The executioner turns on the EKG monitor. After a few minutes, Kitana's breathing starts to get slower and weaker. She gasps loudly, and her body starts to spasm. The EKG beeps faster, and Kitana's fingers and toes curl tightly. She takes a few rattling breaths, then she gives up and collapses limp onto the bed with a final sigh of surrender. Her eyes close slowly. Her mouth and chest move as if she's trying to breathe, but her lungs won't work. Her feet twitch randomly as her heartbeat slows down. The beeps of the EKG slow down until it barely registers a pulse. A final shudder passes through Kitana's body, and she dies, letting out her last breath long sigh. The EKG drones the familiar tone of death. Her face looks peaceful, with her eyes shut and lips slightly parted almost like she's asleep. Her feet and hands continue to twitch every few seconds. The executioner turns off the EKG monitor, then approaches Kitana's dead body and removes the sheet, revealing her dressed in only underwear. He leaves her laying there so she can be taken to the morgue later.
